Empty containers
Did you know that a paint container, whether made of steel or plastic, is 100% recyclable?
Did you know that, in 2010, nearly 1,400 tons of empty containers were recycled through the Eco-peinture program?
Prior to disposing of your empty paint container, make sure to follow the few fundamental rules listed below:
- Using your paintbrush, thoroughly wipe the walls and the rim of the container, as well as the lid.
- Allow the interior of your container and the lid to dry for 24 hours.
- Dispose of the container and lid separately.

Option 1: In your blue box (check with your municipality to find out their policy to this effect) |
